Raw apple-carrot-salad

Ingredients for 2 snacks/ 1 lunch:

3 carrots

1 apple

20g walnuts

1 tbs maple syrup

 

Preparation:

Clean the carrots or peal and cut up them. Remove the apple core but leave the skin to preserve the vitamins which are directly under the skin. Slice the apple and mix carrot- and apple pieces with the walnuts. Nuts contain useful oil that helps the body to absorb vitamin a and beta-Carotene. An avocado sandwich will give you the same type of oil to utilize the vitamins.

20ml water will make the salad more juicy, the maple syrup achieves sweetness.

You will have enough raw salad for two snacks or one lunch.
